One artist that might have been off peoples' radar for this year's Coachella, is 80's marginal-star Rockwell. Known for creating the genre 'Paranoia Pop', Rockwell released some of the most honest pop songs about things he was just simply afraid of. Songs like "Foreign Country", "Taxman" and "Knife" truly demonstrated the breadth of Rockwell's concerns.
But it was his #1 smash hit "Somebody's Watching Me" that was the true tour de force of this rumoured Coachella performer. As everyone knows, childhood friend Michael Jackson performed the hook to this international hit, and there was a rumour that Rockwell wanted to honour his fallen mate with a rousing performance of the hit in Indio this year. A planned duet with Tito Jackson would have been the perfect homage.
However, sources close to the situation have confirmed that among his many fears, Rockwell is a victim to Agoraphobia, a debilitating fear of crowds. And with that none of us will be watching him.
